The decision to eliminate every superfluous element—even to the point of dispensing with a leg—creates a presence that is both elegant and instantly recognisable. A balance between design rigour and expressive naturalness makes P31 equally suited to residential interiors, lounge areas, reception spaces and executive offices.
P31 is the original three-legged chair, available in rosewood or black lacquer. A project that transforms constructional simplicity into a distinctive statement of character.
Generous in its proportions and characterised by a low seat, P31 welcomes the body into a relaxed and natural posture. The generous surfaces and carefully studied angles create an immediate sense of comfort, typical of residential environments and spaces dedicated to relaxation.
Defined by the formal and static choice of creating a twin structure composed of two thin metal tubes which, joined at the legs, widen to support the seat.
The combination of the two rods is repeated in the backrest, creating an iconic and distinctive graphic feature, where the thin sheet of curved wood rests as if suspended.
